SEC teams top Texans list
Houston Sam Houston all-purpose back John Johnson might be from Texas, but his heart appears to be in the SEC.
"I'm still leaning toward Florida," Johnson, a speedy 6-foot, 185-pound back that has already rushed for 1,014 yards and scored 13 touchdowns.

"I just love their offense. It's perfect for my style of play and my running style."
Johnson also likes LSU, Miami and Arkansas. The Hawgs are the newest team to pop up on Johnson's list.
"I like LSU because it's a good overall program," Johnson said. "I also like Arkansas. They have a good football staff and they are one of the best track programs in the nation."
Johnson said Colorado and Texas are also in the picture, but they are behind Florida, LSU, Miami and Arkansas at this point. All but Texas has offered a scholarship.
