"I've got scholarship offers from Arkansas, Tennessee and Arkansas State (among others)," Curtis said. "Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Auburn also are showing me interest."
The 5-foot-11, 209-pounder added that all of the schools showing him interest had been sending him text messages on a regular basis except Auburn.
There are a number of things Curtis likes about the Razorbacks.
"It's close to home," he said. "I was real excited when they came to see me and offered me a scholarship."
The Vols also have his attention.
"I've liked Tennessee since I was in the eighth grade," Curtis said. "They are definitely one of the top schools in the mix."
Curtis, who had more than 550 rushing yards his junior year, added that his early top four consisted of the Vols, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss. He is hoping to attend Junior Day events at all four schools and is hopeful that he can attend a NIKE Camp.
Curtis is a member of the Rivals250 to watch for 2008.
