SEC school offers Crawford

Three-star athlete Craig Crawford picked up his third offer recently. The 6-foot-2, 196-pounder out of Huntington, W.V. landed the scholarship from the SEC.
"I got an offer from Arkansas about a week and a half ago," he stated. "They are looking at me as a running back or wide receiver.

"Right now I'm waiting to take a visit down there to see what's up. I don't know a lot about them. I've talked to the coaches a few times and I want to learn more."
Crawford also holds offers from Wake Forest and Marshall, but believes two other schools could be close to pulling the trigger as well.
"Purdue really likes me and then I think Vanderbilt does too. I'm going to visit them for an unofficial on November 8th when they play Florida," he said. "They just want more video. They want the first four games."
Crawford confirmed that he is looking at officials and mentioned the possibility of visits to Purdue, Vanderbilt and Arkansas after the season.
At this time, the No. 1 prospect in West Virginia maintains there are no leaders.
"I like all the schools equally."
Crawford has played well despite Huntington's 0-4 start.
"I've played alright. I have two 100-yard rushing games, two interceptions, one for a touchdown and both were returned 50-yards. I also have a lot of tackles."
