The Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington standout reports new interest from Georgia. Would Bethel II consider the 'Dawgs if they offered?
"If they offered I would take a visit up there," noted Bethel II. "The cornerbacks coach, Scott Lakatos, was the one that reached out to me. They told me they need a true cover corner and they only have one committed in this class. He said I lot of people told him I'm the guy to see. They are going to watch my film and let me know."
Bethel II has set up his official visit to Miami on January 17 with teammates Demetrius Jackson and Chad Thomas. The Hurricane coaches were in attendance to watch Bethel II and company win the Class 4A title in Orlando this past weekend.
"It means a lot to me that they were here," stated Bethel II. "I felt like my performance wasn't good, so I'm not very satisfied.
The rugged cover man notched four pass break-ups to go with three tackles and one for loss.
One school that continues to keep in touch with Bethel II is Texas Tech. He said the Red Raiders are recruiting him the hardest at the moment. However, he went on record as saying he is 99.9% committed to Miami.
