SEC powers make Godwin a priority

Hogansville (Ga.) Callaway cornerback Terry Godwin is one of the nation's top 2015 cornerbacks and he already has got an offer list that includes some of the nation's premier programs.
Godwin said this week that it is too early to talk about favorites but he did admit that a couple of schools are coming after him the hardest.

"I've been in contact with Georgia and Alabama the most," he said.
Besides these two programs, Godwin also has offers from other schools like Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and North Carolina.
The 6-foot-0, 165 pound cornerback is not being recruited exclusively for the defensive side of the ball. Godwin said many of the schools recruiting him like him as an athlete and have said he could get a look on offense as well.
Godwin has attended three 7-on-7 tournaments this summer but he has not visited any colleges. That should change soon.
"I'm planning on going to Ole Miss and Clemson," he said.
The only schools Godwin has visited thus far are Alabama, Auburn and Georgia, so much will be determined when he starts to travel to different locations later in the process.
