Sulphur Springs (Texas) four-star 2015 safety Larry Pryor has already received offers from TCU, Arkansas, Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, LSU, Baylor, and Notre Dame.
The LSU Tigers were the latest to join the fold and the offer from Baton Rouge put them high on his short list of favorites.
"It's been going back and forth with me," Pryor said of his list of favorites. "Like liking Texas and then I got this LSU offer and that one really took the place as my top because LSU is another DB school, so it would be a good fit for me there. But, I don't know. I'm not really feeling Texas now because they're losing Mack Brown and I heard [Duane] Akina going to be gone also. I heard coach Charlie Strong is a really good coach, but I don't know. I really liked coach Akina I guess, so right now I'm just looking at A&M and LSU."
While Texas A&M has yet to offer, the Aggies have been getting serious lately, and Pryor believes an offer could come soon.
"A couple of weeks before their bowl game I was talking to them and they said I needed to come down and visit College Station," Pryor said. "I got a message from coach Anderson the other day on Twitter and coach Kevin Sumlin wants me and my mom to come down so he can talk to us."
Texas A&M is currently at the top of his list, and if all goes well he could make a decision in the very near future.
"I have been thinking about it, and me and my mom have been talking about it, and whenever we go to College Station January 26 it's just how it feels to me," Pryor said. "I've been there two or three times so I already know what it's like, but I just want to see how it is there this visit."
Pryor will attend the Texas A&M junior day on January 26. He also spoke of the possibility of reaching out to LSU to schedule a visit soon. Baylor invited him to its junior day but he will not be able to attend since he is already planning to visit Texas A&M on the same day. At this point he has yet to speak with the new staff at Texas.
Pryor is currently ranked No. 111 in the 2015 Rivals250 and No. 3 among the nation's safeties. He is ranked No. 14 in the Rivals.com Preseason Texas Top 100 for the 2015 recruiting class.
