SEC offers rolling in for 2018 Tenn. OT

A little more than a month ago, Class of 2018 offensive tackle Max Wray was an unknown, but now the 6-foot-6, 255-pound offensive tackle has collected offers from Vanderbilt, Kentucky, North Carolina, LSU and Ole Miss. The offers started to roll in once Wray's sophomore film started to make the rounds and with his size and frame he looks to have what it takes to be a national level prospect. Obviously it's still very early for Wray, but it's never too early for schools to start recruiting a player they know will be high on their board down the road.
IN HIS WORDS: "It's been really exciting," Wray said. "It was a crazy feeling to get my first offer and they have just been coming since. When I got my first offer from Vanderbilt I was late to three different classes because people kept stopping me in the hallway. I didn't really know these schools about me but they said they have watched my film and been impressed."

Wray has blossomed in his first year of playing offensive lineman after playing primarily defensive line and tight end before.
"It's been a fun adjustment. I like it a lot more. I feel more comfortable as an offensive lineman. My goal is to be up to 275 pounds by next year."

RIVALS' REACTION: Wray has followed up his early offers with visits to campus and there's no doubt the schools already on his list have a jump start on the competition. Wray isn't a Tennessee native, having been born in Oregon and also having lived in Colorado. He said the Ducks would be his dream offer, considering he grew up a fan, but he's planning on taking a more business approach to the recruiting process. Ole Miss, LSU and Kentucky have all made the Nashville area more of a priority in recent years and it seems like that trend will continue going forward.
