SEC offer for Bynum

Terrell Bynum is one of the top 2017 wide receivers in California but the Anaheim (Calif.) Servite standout had not been hearing much from Tennessee leading up until Sept. 1. That is when the Volunteers started to reach out to Bynum, rated as the No. 11 receiver in the 2017 class, and this past weekend he was offered by the SEC club.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Bynum is taking the recruiting process slowly especially with a lot of interest coming in and new offers possible like the one from Tennessee. UCLA is considered to have a slight edge in his recruitment but USC is right there and many others can definitely get in the mix as his junior season continues.
IN HIS WORDS: "I honestly haven't heard from (Tennessee) much," Bynum said. "They got in touch on September 1. Hunter Johnson is the thing that sticks out to me."
RIVALS' REACTION: The Tennessee offer could be something that really sticks out to Bynum since it's his first SEC offer and the Volunteers are once again a contender in the SEC. The two local schools - USC and UCLA - along with Miami seem to stand out early on for Bynum but he also seems open to hearing from new programs.
