SEC comes calling for Rivals250 LB Williams

The May evaluation period is in full effect for Rivals250 linebacker Travis Williams. In the past two days, the 6-foot-2, 189-pounder has pulled two scholarships from the SEC.
"I got offers from Tennessee on Tuesday and LSU on Wednesday," he said. "I didn't think Tennessee had offered, but he told my coach they sent it a couple months ago. We never got the fax.

"The LSU coach came by and they watched my film and then called the coaches back at LSU and told them to send over the offer."
How big are these offers for the Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor prospect?
"It's really big," he said. "I was expecting to get some big schools because I'm pretty fast. I do like them, I like the competition and division they are in.
"I like that both of these schools if you work hard you'll get to the NFL. LSU even has a couple of nationals championships."
More schools are coming for the four-star prospect this month.
"Maryland is coming today and my coach told me he wouldn't be surprised if one of the Florida schools came next week sometime."
Williams maintains there are no leaders at this time stating he is wide open.
