SEC attention for Florida OL

Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central offensive guard prospect Jarien Moreland currently claims two verbal scholarship offers from Southeastern Conference programs and is getting interest from a pair of additional in-state programs.
The 6-foot-4, 319-pound three-star prospect says that his performance at several summer camps was strong.

"I went up to Auburn for a camp," he said. "I locked down everybody that came in front of me. I went up against the best. I locked down everybody in one-on-ones."
He added had a similar experience at LSU.
"When I came to LSU, I wasn't intending on working out because I had a hurt ankle. Then, I went and did the one-on-ones during the drills. The coach was calling out the guys he thought would be good to LSU. They said I had great ability to big as big as I am. "
This week, Moreland will visit a local Sun Belt Conference program.
"Tuesday, I am supposed to be going to Florida International and they are supposed to be offering me," he said.
Yet another in-state program currently is recruiting Moreland the hardest.
"Right now, Central Florida does the most," he said. "They text and send me the most letters and things like that."
Moreland wants to make a verbal commitment
before the summer is over.
"I am fixing to commit," he said. "When the coaches get off vacation, I may verbal commit. (In addition to LSU and Auburn) I am also thinking about FIU. Miami has been talking to me, but they haven't offered yet. UCF hasn't offered me, so I can't really put them in the category.
"But I want to commit before the season starts."
Moreland is the nation's No. 25 offensive guard prospect and the No. 60 overall prospect in the state of Florida according to Rivals.com.
