Sebring WR holds two offers

Devin Clarke is a wide receiver you will hear a lot about in the coming year. Clarke, 5-10.5 and 163 pounds, stars for Sebring High School in Florida. This past season as a junior, Clarke hauled in 72 passes for 1,121 yards and 13 touchdown receptions. He also had four interceptions as a defensive back and returned two punts for touchdowns.
"My strengths of my game are my speed and the ability to catch the football," Clarke said. "As a receiver I need to work on my blocking and continue to work on my route running."

So far, Clarke has two scholarship offers; one from Tennessee and the other from South Florida.
"Tennessee was my first to offer. That was good and it was very exciting for me. I don't know too much about them but I am looking into the Vols for sure.
"I don't know the USF coaches yet. I have heard some good things about coach (Skip) Holtz. I have been up there a few times and looked around. I really like USF and Tampa."
You can sure bet that other big name programs will follow the Vols and Bulls with scholarship offers to Clarke. Who else is showing a lot of interest in this rising senior wide receiver standout?
"What other teams are recruiting me hard? Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Rutgers, Nebraska, Iowa, and Miami are all showing a ton of interest. Right now if I had to name a top five it would be Florida, Miami, Tennessee, USF and Alabama. My favorites are Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. I like the SEC.
"Actually, I like them all."
So far Clarke has been to Florida, USF, and Miami. Does he have any upcoming spring plans?
"I will go see some schools this spring. I am not sure who yet. I plan on making unofficial visits and I want to decide whenever I figure it out.
"I want to go in and play right away. Playing time is big. I would love to start so I am looking at systems and depth charts."
