Seastrunk set to visit Auburn this weekend

Lache Seastrunk is a wanted man. This rising senior prospect from Temple (Texas) High School is the nation's No. 2 rated prospect overall and the No. 1 running back in the nation. He's an electrifying runner with blazing speed, quickness and superior vision. Last season as a junior, Seastrunk rushed for over 1,500 yards (nine yards per carry) and scored 14 times. As a sophomore he rushed for over 1,500 yards (11 yards per carry) and scored 11 touchdowns.
"Right now I am just working hard," Seastrunk said. "I am working out trying to get faster, trying to get better for my team. I don't want to fumble this season, that's one of my goals. I also want to win state and win the district MVP. I just want to win."

It has been believed for a while now that Seastrunk would likely pick his college destination between the University of Texas and LSU. He has visited both those schools as well as USC. But there's another school that will be a factor, especially if Seastrunk has a good visit there this weekend. On Friday, he heads to Auburn to meet with the new Auburn staff and check out the Tigers.
"I talk with coach (Curtis) Loper (running backs coach) and we seem to have a very good relationship. I have never been there before and I am hoping to go learn a lot about Auburn and get a good understanding of what they are all about. So I will know a lot more about them after this weekend. I am hoping this is my last visit until I take my official visits."
If Auburn is his last (unofficial) visit this weekend will he camp at any schools this summer?
"I am planning on going to the USC Rising Stars Camp and Florida's Friday Night Lights. That's it for now."
Seastrunk, 5-11 and 192 pounds, is originally from Leesville, La. He moved to the Lone Star State at a very young age. Seastrunk is also a cousin of LSU signee Michael Ford and is close with Rivals100 wide receiver Trovon Reed. Reed, from Thibodaux, will also visit Auburn this weekend.
