Searcy headed back home
Dodge City (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Antonio Searcy has reached a college choice after taking four official visits.
“I am going to go to the University of South Florida,” The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Searcy said. “I just decided that today. It is the best place for me.”

Searcy indicated the closeness to home as being the main factor.
“I can be close to home and close to my daugher,” he said. “I have called some of the other coaches. It was not an easy thing to tell them. And most of the coaches were upset.”
Searcy also considered Kansas, Kansas State, East Carolina and Purdue.
