Searcy enjoys trip to Kansas State

Dodge City (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Antonio Searcy has completed two of the three official visits he has on his calendar.
"I took my second trip this past weekend," the 6-foot-3, 305-pound Searcy said. "I went to Kansas State. It was good. I had a real good time. They had us at the game and showed us around real well. Everything was cool at Kansas State."

Despite having a good time, Searcy plans to make his third official visit on December 5.
"I've still got my South Florida visit," he said. "I have not made any commitments anywhere. Then I'll try and wrap it all up."
Searcy was able to visit with Wildcat head coach Bill Snyder before departing from Manhattan on Monday.
"I got the chance to sit down with Coach Snyder and talk," the December signee said. "He officially offered me a scholarship and asked me how I felt I would fit into their program. I think I could fit in well on their team. They have some openings along the defensive line, so it could be a good fit."
Searcy also visited East Carolina the weekend before his visit to Manhattan.
