Earlier this year two-star LaGrange (Ga.) Troup running back Daryl Dunlap committed to San Diego State sight unseen. But he's hoping to remedy that before the summer is over.
"I'm really trying to get out there," Dunlap said. "I heard from my teammates who went out there last year that it's really nice and I want to see it for myself."
The Aztecs were the first school to offer Dunlap and he jumped on the opportunity. Since then, UCF has offered and schools likeClemson, LSU and Vanderbilt are also showing interest.
Dunlap said he remains firmly committed to San Diego State and the opportunity to get on the field early in his career remains one of the most appealing aspects to him.
"They want me at running back and that's the position I want to play," he said. "Some schools want me at outside linebacker but they guaranteed me I'd be the biggest back there and that I'd probably get early playing time."
In addition to camping at Florida State this week, Dunlap also recently went to Arkansas and said he's been in contact with the Razorbacks coaches since that visit.
