SDSU, Baylor remain Campbells only offers

Austin (Texas) Westlake running back Tyler Campbell continues to focus on his season as the recruiting process continues to roll on.
“I want to concentrate on my season,” the 6-foot-1, 182-pound Campbell said. “We are 3-1 in district games and I think we have a good shot to keep it up. I’ll get my visits lined up after our season is over.”

The three-star rated running back still only has offers from Baylor and San Diego State.
“Those are the only schools that have offered,” he said. “The rest of them are still calling. But no offers yet. Utah is a new school to the mix. They called for the first time two weeks ago and then again this week.”
Campbell surpassed the 1,000 yard mark last week for the season.
“I’m at 1,032 and I have two more district games to go. I’m enjoying playing and thinking I’m doing good.”
The son of the former Texas standout gets an evaluation of the game film each week.
“Dad was ready when I got home. I went for 144 yards on Friday. But, he was brutal on me. I know he’s making me better. He goes over it in a good way. He’s not on my case. But, he is expecting me to be the best.”
