Scribbins hopes to turn season around

Clear Lake, Iowa wide receiver/safety prospect Matt Scribbins (6-foot-3, 205 pounds) is not in a very happy mood these days. It's not that Scribbins wasn't more than happy to fill us in on his recruiting news, Scribbins is a very well-spoken and polite young man on the phone, yet one subject is a very sore subject these days.
“We're off to a horrible start so far this season," Matt Scribbins said. “So far we're 0-2 on the season. I'm not in a real good mood these days because we are in a really desperate need for a win this week."

Scribbins talked about his latest recruiting news.
"I've gotten calls from basically the same schools that I camped at this summer. I've talked with coaches from Northwestern, Iowa and Iowa State the most. Those three schools have been calling me the most so far."
Scribbins also is hoping to check out several college games this fall.
"I'm hoping to get to see games at Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska and Northwestern later this fall. I was hoping to get to the Iowa home opener but my schedule wouldn't allow me a change to get away."."
"For now I'm just putting most of the recruiting stuff on the back-burner. I've been really working hard to help get our team a win this week, and I'm sure once we get that first win I'll be in a much better mood and ready to look at the recruiting stuff harder."
