Scranton adds SEC offer

Buford, Ga., defensive end Aaron Scranton has added another SEC off to his plate. This time it's from one of the top programs in the SEC West.
"I've now been offered by Arkansas," Scranton, the 6-foot-5, 230 pounder, said.

"We went up there for the Central Florida game and it was one of the most beutiful states that I've been too. I also really like the Arkansas coaches. They are really great."
Scranton said he was at the Georgia-Georgia Tech game this past weekend and came away impressed with both teams.
"I liked how UGA looked," Scranton said. "I also really like how Tech used their defensive ends."
Scranton said on the recruiting front he's staying open. He is still getting regular calls and attention from Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, SMU and Kentucky. Furman has also offered and UGA is calling but not at regular as the past few weeks.
"I'm sure they're busy with about 100 other things," Scranton said.
With the state playoffs still roaring for Buford, Scranton said he's still a while away from setting up official visits.
"We have to win state first," he said. "Then I'll worry more about recruiting."
