Scouting Spotlight: Rivals100 WR Kyle Davis

Name: WR Kyle Davis Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer

Recruiting Wrap: Davis has keep people guessing when it comes to his decision, but has visited Auburn in back-to-back weeks. The Tigers are competing with Georgia and Tennessee for Davis' services. He is set to announce a commitment on Oct. 23.

Performance: Davis' senior year got off to a bang when he hauled in three passes for 70 yards, including an impressive touchdown in his team's season-opening victory. He followed that up with a seven-catch, 104-yard performance in a nationally televised game against talent-rich Peachtree Ridge. Davis was slowed this past Friday in his team's loss to Grayson, catching three passes for 19 yards.

My Thoughts: Davis had a great summer on the camp circuit, putting himself in the conversation with some of the nation's top wide receivers. But with those type of accolades also comes extra attention. Through two games Davis did a good job of finding a way to get open despite facing double teams and help over the top, but Grayson was able to slow him down this past week. Davis is one of the most physically impressive players in his class, regardless of position, and he looks more confident than ever in using his size to create mismatches.
