Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze cornerback Kenny Scott is one of the top players in the state of Florida and has the offers to prove it. However, he’s still waiting on a couple of in-state powers to make their pitch.
“I have about 20 or so offers,” said the 6-foot-1, 180-pound standout. “Right now my favorites are Clemson, Florida State, Florida, Georgia Tech and Georgia.”
Scott, who rushed for more than 800 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior while catching 27 passes for another 700 yards, has offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Georgia and many others including Tennessee, North Carolina, NC State, Alabama, Stanford, Boston College and others. He is still waiting for FSU and Florida although both visited his school earlier this month.
“I’m looking for a school with a good communications program, a tight family atmosphere and good facilities,” he said. “I’m open minded about attending a school out of state. I just want to make an early impact.”
