Da'mari Scott enjoyed his official visit to Fresno State this past weekend but the Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral three-star wide receiver is not ready to make his commitment just yet.
The 6-foot, 190-pound recruit said he still wants to take a few trips in the coming weekends before signing day but that his trip to Fresno State was pretty impressive.
"It was cool," Scott said. "It's a real family environment and I like the team a lot so it was a nice place.
"I'm going to wait on making my decision. I want to take some other visits."
Scott plans to visit San Jose State this weekend and then take a trip to Toledo right before signing day.
Boston College, Colorado State, San Diego State and Nevada have also offered but Scott seems to be focusing on the three schools where visits are a priority. He could wait until signing day to make a final choice.
Taking trips before making his commitment is important for the three-star receiver who had a big senior season.
"I want to see some other places," Scott said.
This past season Scott finished with 76 receptions for 913 yards and 14 touchdowns. He helped lead Los Angeles Cathedral to a 10-win season.
