Score another for Mike Stoops
Spring, Texas, three-star inside linebacker Ronnie Palmer has said for days and days that he’s leaning toward Arizona and it looks like that lean is about to be more than that.
It’s about to become a commitment.

“I don’t think it’s out in the public yet, but Ronnie is going to go to Arizona,” Spring coach Sonny Karas said. “I think he’s going to officially tell them and announce it later tonight.”
The commitment is good news for Wildcat coach Mike Stoops, who has done a terrific job of recruiting players in the Houston area in his short time at Arizona. Palmer visited Arizona back on January 9 and was leaning heavily toward the Wildcats from that point on.
But then a visit to Notre Dame back two weeks ago caused him to do some more thinking. In the end, according to his coach, the Wildcats have won out.
