West Deptford, N.J. safety Anthony Scirrotto is one of the better athletes in the state of New Jersey and the Wisconsin Badgers could be the first to offer.
"Wisconsin came to my school and said by the end of the week they're going to send an offer," said the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder. "Lousiville, Rutgers and Penn State are also really close to offering I think."
Scirrotto, who rushed for 507 yards, threw for 949 yards and made 66 tackles with six interceptions as a junior, is also interested in a few other schools.
"Boston College, Maryland and Notre Dame are also high on my list," he said. "Wisconsin said I could play wherever I fit so that could be offense or defense while everyone else wants me as a saefty. I just want to play sooner than later."
However, if Wisconsin offers, Scirrotto won't make any hasty decisions.
"I'm going to weigh all my options," he said. "I won't be making a quick commitment."
