Schwartz waiting on Ohio State

Dana Point (Calif.) Dana Hills defensive back Grant Schwartz said last week he had talked to Ohio State assistant coach Luke Fickell and had received a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes. He was waiting for a call from Jim Tressel to confirm the offer.
"I talked to (Ohio State assistant) coach Beckman," Schwartz said late Sunday night. "He said coach Tressel wants to look at the film we sent. But he didn't get a chance to do that before they left for Penn State.

"Everything is pretty much the same right now. I'm expecting a call from coach Tressel any day now.
"I had a chance to watch the last few series of their game against Penn State. The offense struggled a little. It was disappointing, but that happens to the best of them.
"Ohio State is definitely still my top choice."
The 6-foot-0 and 200-pound Schwartz is playing quarterback and some free safety during his senior season. In leading Dana Hills to three wins in four games Schwartz has 700 yards passing and eight touchdowns as well as 400 yards rushing and six scores. He has also intercepted a pass on the other side of the ball.
