Schwartz gets Big Ten invitation

Clyde, Ohio, linebacker Eric Schwartz has attended a number of college games this season. He will attend another this weekend.
"I got a letter in the mail that said (the Buckeyes) wanted me to come down for the Ohio State-Northwestern game," Schwartz said. "I'll be going down there."

In addition to the Ohio State-Iowa game, Schwartz has also seen games this season at Akron, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, Cincinnati, and Northwestern.
"I'm looking at Ohio State, then Miami, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Akron, and Bowling Green," Schwartz said. "Ohio State is my favorite."
Clyde is 10-1 and plays Dayton Chaminade this weekend in the second round of the playoffs.
Despite missing three games with a staph infection, the 6-foot-0 and 227-pound Schwartz still has close to 100 tackles including four sacks.
"I'll wait till after the season to set up my official visits," he said.
