Schwaba planning Big Ten visit

Tight end Jack Schwaba of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Upper St. Clair held a trio of offers for several months, and has remained rather quiet during his process. However, recently a new offer arrived, and as a result the big tight end will be taking a visit to a Big Ten program.
Schwaba had previously held offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple, and recently added Northwestern to his total.

"I haven't taken any visits recently, but I'm taking one June 20th to Northwestern," said Schwaba, who is 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds. "I want to see the campus, talk to some academic people and see the facilities."
As he prepares for his next visit, Schwaba is also beginning to think about his final decision.
"I want to make my decision either before the season or really early into the season," said Schwaba, who also mentioned that he has no other visits planned after Northwestern and does not claim any current favorites. "I'm just looking for early playing time, a winning team and good academics."
While his recruiting process continues, Schwaba has been busy preparing for his senior season.
"Training is going excellent," said Schwaba. "I'm working out everyday and I've never felt more athletic."
