Schutt hearing from many schools

Tommy Schutt doesn't have many visits planned until after his junior season but the 2012 defensive tackle from Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West is expected to attend the Penn State-Michigan game Saturday and a bunch of other programs are coming after him in a big way.
"It's going to be an unbelievable atmosphere," Schutt said of his weekend visit to Penn State. "I've been to that game a couple times and I'm just waiting to get up to Happy Valley. It should be a great time.

"Right now I'm really open to everything. Probably after our season this year I'll start narrowing it down to some schools I want to visit and take a look at."
UCLA has increased its interest recently in Schutt, a 6-foot-3, 301-pound recruit, and he said Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State and Notre Dame are also on his ever-expanding list.
A few southern schools could also get in the mix. Schutt already has a good deal of early verbal offers.
UCLA is an interesting addition to the list because that's where Schutt's mother went to school. Although that isn't expected to play a major factor in his decision-making process it cannot hurt that the family is familiar with the Los Angeles area. Schutt could visit UCLA at some point before his senior season.
"They have been involved," Schutt said of the Bruins. "I've been in contact over e-mail with some of the coaches from UCLA. Hopefully, I can get out to the school and get a little more comfortable with it.
"That's where my mom went to school. It's not that big of a deal to me. I'm just trying to figure out where I best fit in and then make that decision."
