Schools visiting Kansas RB

Salina (Kan.) St. John's Military running back Raymond Parker is beginning to find the interest in his skills pick up as the spring evaluation period has begun.
"Raymond is starting to get more attention from schools," St. John's Military coach Mike Reid said. "Nobody has been here yet, but several have said they will be coming by to visit."

The list of schools saying they will visit includes Washington State and Michigan State.
"Those two have said they'll be by," Reid said. "But, Kansas State and Colorado State have already been by here to see him. Illinois, Oklahoma, LSU and Kansas have been sending mail to him."
The 5-foot-9, 188-pounder has yet to receive a scholarship offer.
"We've been sending out film to schools and the ones who have evaluated it, are liking what they are seeing."
During the 2004 season, Parker rushed for 1,650 yards on 230 carries. He also returned kicks for the Muleskinners, with 23 returns for 530 yards and two for touchdowns.
Parker, a native of Alexandria, Va., will be attending the NIKE camp in Manhattan, Kan. on May 7.
