Schools getting in early on Brown

Let the competition begin because cornerback Chykie Brown of Houston (Texas) North Shore has plenty of schools vying for his attention.
At 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Brown has quickly risen to high caliber status in the state of Texas. Now, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Texas, Houston, and Arizona have all expressed interest in the talented prospect by way of an offer.

"I might have more coming, but six is where I'm at right now," Brown said. "My top three out of those schools is Texas, Oklahoma State, and Arizona. The coaches are strong there and they've got nice programs."
Arizona, however is recruiting the hardest at this point, according to Brown. Still, he has a pretty good idea of official visits that don't just include offered schools.
"I'm definitely going to see USC, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State," Brown said. "I've talked to a lot of coaches and I'm still working it all out."
Those visits will take place after his football season like his decision. His summer is full of training for his final senior year.
"This summer will be busy with training so I might not do any camps," he said.
