Scholarship offers for receiver

Mission, Texas receiver Earvin Taylor still has the same five offers.
Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor, Rice and Arizona have all made written offers to him, but others are showing interest by calling him and visiting his high school coach.

"Coaches from Texas A&M, Texas, Texas Tech, TCU and Baylor have visited the school," Taylor said. "A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor, Rice and Arizona have called me.
He says Texas A&M and Oklahoma are his favorites with Texas right there also.
"It would be really hard to commit to any school (right now)," the 6-foot-3, 190 receiver said. "I haven't visited any of them yet."
As a junior he had 52 receptions for 813 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Taylor was named first-team all-valley (area) and honorable-mention all-state for his performance last year.
He said of his strong points: "Getting open and catching the ball. I run good routes and have soft hands. I'm a go up and get it receiver."
He had the following comments about his three favorites:
Oklahoma - "They have a good passing attack and are in the run for the national title again."
Texas A&M - "They have brought in a freshman quarterback that looks good for the future and they play a strong schedule in the Big 12. They will be in the hunt for the national championship."
Texas - "They have a good passing offense and are in the run for the national championship too."
He plans to attend summer camps at Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Texas.
He says that distance will not be a factor on the school of his choice.
