Scholarship offer is in the mail

Weston (Mo.) West Platte quarterback Adam Barmann just returned from a summer camp and his mailbox should hold a full-ride scholarship offer very soon.
"Coach Hill said that they were going to offer in about a week," Barmann said about Missouri. "And that was three days ago. It should be coming any day. They had me stay after the camp and do some throwing."

One other school might be offering him sometime in September.
"Kansas said that they were really impressed with me," he said. "But they don't make offers until late in the season. They have other quarterbacks to look at. The coach hinted I was the top prospect on their list and that they would offer probably after our first couple of games in the fall."
"It would probably be Missouri or Kansas," the 6-foot-3, 195 pound Barmann said in reference to a possible leader. "I'd love to go to Arizona State though and Kansas State is looking for a quarterback. I guess I don't really know who the favorite is now. I'll try to have that figured out by the next interview."
His next summer camp visit will be to Purdue. He leaves on Jun. 17 for that two-day camp.
As a junior he completed 133 of 230 pass attempts for approximately 2,300 yards, 20 touchdowns with only four interceptions.
Editor's Note: Barmann informed us that he had received his first official written offer from Kansas on June 13. He is still expecting an offer from Missouri any day.
