Schiccatano Ready To Make Visit

A couple of weeks ago running back Nate Schiccatano (6'3 215 4.45) from Catawissa Southern Columbia (PA) narrowed his list down slightly, going from a little over a dozen schools to about nine he was still looking at. That list hasn't changed much. In fact it may have gone up by one.

"The past week or two Nate's been mostly concentrating on getting ready for the season," Schiccatano's father Sam said. "He really hasn't narrowed things down anymore. Actually Florida has probably jumped into the race now. Starting next week coaches can call. I think he'll start to narrow things down more after that. We're going to the Miami at Penn State game Saturday night. I'm pretty sure we'll go to the Michigan State at Notre Dame game on September 22nd. That way he'll have a chance to see two teams he is looking at in a big game. I think we'll go to an Ohio State game too."

Schools remaining on Schiccatano's list include Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pitt, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Florida. All but Florida have offered a scholarship. Schiccatano plays his first game of the season tonight.
