Four-star dual-threat quarterback / athlete Brent Schaeffer from Deerfield Beach (Fla.) took his first official visit over the weekend, and has three more trips planned. He plans to take all of his visits before making a decision and said three schools are fighting out for his last trip.
“It went good,” he commented on his Tennesse trip. “I really liked Coach Fulmer and Coach Sanders.” He rated the trip a nine.
In addition the Tennessee trip, Brent will travel to Kansas State this weekend (Dec. 19), South Florida on Jan. 9, and NC State on Jan. 23. Ole Miss, Michigan State and Notre Dame are all currently in contention for his last visit.
“I am looking at the players, the coaches, how the coaches treat the players, and the atmosphere,” he commented.
The Schaeffer household has been busy during month of January with coaches from NC State, Tennessee, Auburn, Kansas State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Syracuse already coming in for visits.
