Schaeffer down to KSU, UT, USF

When you’re a four-star quarterback recruit, everybody has huge expectations about what you’re going to accomplish on the field every Friday night. Good thing that Deerfield Beach, Fla., standout Brent Schaeffer delivers.
“I had a pretty good game against Gardens,” Schaeffer, ranked as the nation’s No. 9 dual-threat quarterback, said. “I threw for more than 250 yards and two touchdowns. We won 24-14. That was a big win for us. They were talking a lot of junk before the game.”

In the end it was Schaeffer that came through and let his actions do the talking.
With his team hopefully going deep in the state playoffs, he’s thinking more and more about only taking a few official visits. And that list has “kind of” been whittled down to three teams.
“I’m going to at least take visits to Tennessee, Kansas State and South Florida,” Schaeffer, who is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, said. “I don’t know about the others. I have plenty of options, but K-State, Tennessee and South Florida will be the three I take for sure.”
At this point, Schaeffer said K-State is the lone school he’s lined up a visit with. He’s scheduled to visit Manhattan on December 19. He said it’s possible he could visit UT or USF the weekend before.
Michigan State, Ole Miss and Purdue are candidates for the other two visits, if he takes them.
