Schacht feels like OU was best choice

Coppell, Texas offensive lineman Cameron Schacht chose the Sooners early on in the process, but had planned on taking in some other camps this summer.
“I was going to go to Kansas State’s camp,” the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Schacht said. “But, I decided that I made my decision and I’m sticking with it. I’m sticking with my decision to go to Oklahoma.”

Despite Schacht’s commitment, schools continue to try and recruit him.
“I get a lot of stuff in the mail. I even got a lot of calls in May. But, I really quit paying attention to everything that was coming along when I decided to stick firm with the Sooners.”
Schacht had taken in K-State during the Wildcats’ spring game in April.
“I enjoyed my visit to Manhattan. But, I just felt like I made the right decision with my commitment to Oklahoma. They are one of the best in the nation anyway you look at it.”
