Scarlett going through his visits

Cameron Scarlett has been to Stanford a few times so getting to know the players much better was the biggest thing he wanted to do on his weekend official visit.
The four-star all-purpose back from Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic accomplished that task and the Cardinal definitely look good in his recruitment.

Scarlett, rated as the eighth-best all-purpose back in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, is not going to name any frontrunners until all his visits are completed but Stanford impressed him this weekend for sure.
"It was really good," Scarlett said. "I got to see all the ins-and-outs of the program and the school. What was most important is that I got to see the players and talk with the players. That was really big for me because I've seen the program a lot, this was my third or fourth visit, so I got to see what the players were like and it was really cool.
"They're all really personable and really sociable. What was the most interesting about it was a lot of people leading up to the visit told me the players aren't that social, they don't really have fun, they're really strict about their studies but it wasn't like that at all and they were really cool guys."
So far, the four-star prospect has visited Washington, Notre Dame and Stanford. The Cardinal coaching staff is coming hard at Scarlett, the top-rated prospect in the Oregon state rankings, but they aren't pressing too hard for a pledge yet.
"They didn't push for a commitment," Scarlett said. "They told me to wait until I feel like I'm ready."
Scarlett said he could end up taking one more Pac-12 visit other than UCLA but he's not certain at this point. A decision is approaching so after these last trips the four-star will figure out which program fits him best. He'll visit with the Bruins this weekend.
"I might end up visiting Cal," Scarlett said. "I haven't decided that yet but the only one I have planned is UCLA. I think I should make my decision in December."
