Scandrick to announce on Monday

Los Alamitos (Calif.) athlete Orlando Scandrick visited Boise State this past weekend and said he's very close to making a decision. In fact, Scandrick said his two finalists will be in the home Monday and he'll decide later that night.
Scandrick is a talented two way performer who could play receiver or corner in college. He visited Washington State back in November and attempted to commit but was told by the Cougs they were out of scholarships.

He visited Fresno State last weekend and the visit to Boise was his last.
"I loved it at Boise, I felt right at home," Scandrick said. "I actually thought about committing but I like Fresno State too and wanted to give them one more shot and for my family to meet their coaches as well. Fresno State is coming in for a home visit tomorrow (Monday) at 1:00 and then Boise State will be coming tomorrow at 5:00.
"Both are good schools so it's a tough call. I'm kind of leaning to Boise State because with Jeremy (Childs) going there, I'll have one of my best friends there and someone I can room with. They're recruiting me as a corner and they only have two returning corners coming back so I'll have a chance to play early. I'm just going to listen to both schools tomorrow, talk things over with my family and then make my decision tomorrow night."
