Scandrick makes soft commitment
Los Alamitos (Calif.) two way standout Orlando Scandrick has made his college choice and will make it official tonight although he claims his commitment is a soft one and he still plans to take one more visit.

"I committed to Washington State," Scandrick said. "I told one of the assistant coaches and will tell Coach Doba when he comes in to my house tonight for a home visit. I still plan on taking my trip to Oregon (Jan. 7) just so I so have something to compare Washington State to since that was the only visit I took but I'm feeling really good about Washington State right now.
"They have some good young quarterbacks at WSU and not a lot of depth at receiver. They have Jason Hill and Michael Bumpus who are both very good but I think I can get in to the rotation pretty early behind those two guys. Plus I want to play receiver and Oregon is recruiting me as a corner and has a lot of depth there so I'll be able to play earlier at Washington State than Oregon."
Scandrick visited Pullman back in November and said he loved everything about it.
"It's a great little college town and the people really support the program there," Scandrick said. "I felt comfortable with all the players and coaches and think it's just a great overall fit for me."
