Scales gets state championship

Scales announced a commitment to Iowa State in mid-November. Are other schools still recruiting this talented back?

"Everybody's stopped recruiting me now, I believe," Scales said.
"Iowa State will be my only official visit. I think it will be Dec. 12."
"I haven't talked with them too much about playing as a true freshman. We'll see what happens. That's a coaches decision."
The 5-foot-9 and 175 pound Scales rushed for 2109 yards, averaged 10.7 per carry, and scored 33 times for West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley. Valley has won the state championship two years in a row.
Scales is the Rivals.com number 38 running back prospect with a three star rating.
