Scales adds Minnesota offer

Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain linebacker Tegray Scales has seen his offer list swell this spring. The 6-foot, 206-pound linebacker picked up another offer from a Big Ten program on Thursday.
"Minnesota just offered," Scales reported. "I talked to them a little bit ago and they said they watched my film and liked it. They said I can cover one-on-one, blitz and that's what they like. Because they are an aggressive defense, they want players that are aggressive so they like that about me."

Scales talked with Minnesota assistant coach Jim Zebrowski following his offer, and it was a conversation that expanded his knowledge of the program.
"I don't know too much about them, but I hope to know more soon," Scales said. "[Zebrowski] said he needs to get me up to the school. He did say they have one of the biggest locker rooms in the country and a great football facility overall.
The offer from Minnesota was Scales' 13th of the process. Other new offers include West Virginia and Wisconsin.
"Right now I am just enjoying the process," Scales said. "I'm not picking favorites, but I'll do that in the future. I think I am going to take some official visits and right now I am not sure when I want to commit. I want to make sure I pick the right school for me so I am going to weigh that as long as I need to."
Scales has yet to plan any summer camps, but he does expect to visit schools in the coming weeks with Louisville, West Virginia and Illinois being three programs he wants to see.
