Skinny: Stratford is a well-known stop every year for college coaches. This year is no different with the likes of Jonathan Breaux. He is a dominating player at nose guard for head coach Ray Stackley.
“He’s a prototypical nose guard," said Stackley. "He plugs the gap real quick and he’s a real good run stopper.”
Breaux is also an accomplished wrestler, finishing third in South Carolina’s heavyweight division. He's also known as a hard worker.
“My best attribute is that I go hard," said Breaux. "I’m lifting hard and trying to get my speed up.”
Breaux is sporting a 300-pound bench press, 460-pound squat and a 260-pound power clean.
Breaux is receiving the most attention from South Carolina and Clemson. This is what Breaux had to say about the in-state schools.
South Carolina: “I like the way it’s layed out. They seem like they will help you and they seem real nice.”
Clemson: “I like their stadium and I like the atmosphere.”
Breaux is starting to get a lot more attention from colleges. He has received no offers at this point. He should decide in a couple of weeks on where he'll camp this summer.
