Savoy serving up big senior season
Mamou (La.) three-star receiver/safety LaTerryal Savoy committed early in the recruiting process to Michigan, and despite a barrage of other calls, the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder will remain Blue through and through.
“I’m committed to Michigan, but Ole Miss still calls,” said Savoy, ranked as the No. 28 receiver. “But I’m firm to Michigan.

“I like the way they play together. They play as a team and that fits me.”
Savoy said Michigan also has what he wants academically.
“They have what I need,” he said. “And they just seem like they care about that a lot, which makes me feel good.”
Savoy has 22 receptions for seven scores as a senior. He also has seven interceptions this year. He has not lined up his official visit to Michigan because his team, 7-0 and No. 3 in Class 2A, is expected to go deep in the Louisiana playoffs.
