The Latest: Standing at 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, Class of 2018 Johns Creek (Ga.) offensive lineman Reuben Unije is hard to miss. So when he worked out in front of coaches for both Virginia Tech and Florida over the past week, it's no surprise it didn't take long for either school to extend an offer. Unije added offers from both schools on Thursday, a week after working out for the Hokies coaches and a day after working out for the Gators coaches. Both workouts took place at satellite camps in the Atlanta area. Unije now has 10 offers, including N.C. State, Missouri and Oregon State.

In His Words:

On working with the Virginia Tech coaches: "It was good they were very energetic and the offensive line coach was very cut and dry with what he wanted. He let you know one time that's it so he was making sure you paid attention, which is good because the little things is what makes you a better player."

On Florida: "It was an awesome time. I love the coach -- his energy is great. There's a lot of coaches that I've been coached by that just yell all the time and curse at you and all that. They know what they're doing but at a certain point it's not constructive to the player. But Coach Summers really knows how to talk to you and let you know what you're doing at all times. I grew up a Florida fan, I love Florida, I love everything about them. Two seasons ago they had D.J. Humphries drafted in the first round. Their offensive line is nasty. They were good last year, they keep improving every year, great location. Everything about Florida I love."

Rivals Reaction: Unije has made it clear that the schools that offer earlier in the process have a better shot with him down the line and both the Gators and Hokies are smart to jump in now. Unije said he expects to visit Florida soon and will hit a few other camps over the summer before digging in for his junior season.
