Satele is Hawaii bound

One of the best offensive linemen Rivals100 has seen this season in both games and camps for the class of 2003 is three star offensive center Hercules Satele (6-3, 260, 4.9) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. Rivals100 talked to a source in Hawaii who said that Satele has committed to the Warriors
Satele is unavailable for comment as he is on his way back home.

Satele went on the trip without a formal offer from Hawaii, but the word is he received the offer and Satele accepted.
Rivals believes that the Warriors picked up a special player here. Satele has excellent work habits and the motivation to make him the best possible football that he can become.
Rivals thought Hawaii would be tough to beat. Satele has ties to the program and a lot of family in Hawaii. His cousin is freshman Warrior offensive lineman Samson Satele.
Satele gives credit to teammates and former teammates for the reason he’s so good.
“When you line up in practice against Ray (Tago), Manuel (Wright), Junior (Lemau’u) and Joshua (Tauanu’u) you will get prepared for any competition,” Satele said. “Those guys were better than anybody I played in games against.”
Tago and Wright signed with USC out of high school.
Tago had to go the JUCO route first and played for Long Beach CC. He is currently embroiled in a heated recruiting battle with Oregon and Cal.
Wright is still trying to qualify so he can enter USC.
Tauanu’u is committed to Oregon and Lemau’u is a soft commit to Cal. Lemau’u is still looking at other schools.
Now you know why Satele is such a hearty competitor. Whoever signs this young man will be getting a gem.
