Sargent has two leaders

Blake Sargent has the versatility to play on either side of the ball.
The 6-foot-2, 265-pound athlete can't decide if he's an offensive or defensive lineman. Sargent was working out on both sides of the ball at the UTEP one-day satellite camp in Houston, and was voted the camp's best offensive lineman. He also excelled on the defensive side of the ball.

While he's unsure of what position he'll play on the Division I level, schools like Houston, Rice and New Mexico State are willing to find out.
"I've been offered by those three schools and I'm favoring Houston and Rice right now," Sargent said. "TCU and UTEP are getting close also."
"My first priority is education. Then it's about the team-family and the coaching staff. I know the coaches at Houston real well and I like them a lot. My teammate Cameron Kaufhold likes Houston a lot."
It seems that Houston has an edge is gaining Sargent's services, but he doesn't plan on making a decision any time soon.
"I plan on taking my time with the process," he said. "I probably won't make a decision until after the season."
