Sandland focused on some trips

Beau Sandland continues to be a hot commodity as the Woodland Hills (Calif.) Pierce C.C. tight end recently landed an offer from Miami and many other schools are showing interest.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound prospect said he's definitely interested in the Hurricanes because it's such a great school for tight ends but he's also concerned if the program is going to be hit with serious NCAA sanctions.

"That's obviously exciting to get an offer from Miami," Sandland said. "As far as tight ends go, they're probably the best school in the country. They've had some really big names and the list goes on and on so that's really exciting.
"One thing that goes with that is the sanctions they might have and all the pros and cons that go with that."
So far, Sandland has landed offers from Arizona, Indiana, Miami, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Texas Tech and Utah and he said he's thrilled with his recruitment.
Washington, Oklahoma and Florida are three other schools showing interest and so Sandland plans to take his time as things continue to pick up.
"It's still really early for me," Sandland said.
"We're not even into spring ball yet at my school. I have seven offers right now and I don't have any top ones right now since I still have until December."
Some trips are being planned. Sandland said he will probably see Texas Tech and some West Coast schools in the coming months and he's definitely planning an official visit to Ole Miss early in the season. Other official trips to Miami and Nebraska are also being seriously considered.
