Sanders worth the wait

Louisville (Ky.) Male linebacker Matt Sanders is one of the better prospects in the state of Kentucky, but after a torn ACL teams are watching closely how he does on the field the upcoming weeks.
"Last week was my first real game back," Sanders, who is 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, said.

"We blew the other team out, so I didn't get to play much. But we have a tougher game this week, and I'm hoping to go out there and show everybody what I got."
Everybody like Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky. Those are the teams that have called in September and are showing serious interest in Sanders.
"They all want to wait and see how my knee holds up," he said. "I tell them it's going to be fine and ready to go, but I guess they want me to prove it on the field."
And he will. Sanders has the drive and desire that most coaches can't coach, plus he has a great nose for the football. It's just that his knee is keeping him from having many scholarship offers.
But if it's all right, then look out.
