Sanders: Im all Irish

C.J. Sanders has been committed to Notre Dame since the spring but he transferred to Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame for his senior season and recently he landed another major offer.
UCLA got involved in his recruitment in recent weeks with an offer and Sanders said the Bruins have continued to reach out. However, it doesn't sound like the four-star wide receiver is giving the recruiting process much thought at this point in the season.

"They just said check it out because they're close to home," Sanders said.
"My focus right now is just football. I'm not going to worry about that. I'm going to focus on my senior year and winning a championship."
One of the reasons why Sanders is more focused on football and not recruiting is because it sounds like his decision has been made and he's not looking at other programs.
An offer from UCLA might be tempting but Sanders clearly reinforced his commitment to Notre Dame.
"I'm Irish," Sanders said.
"I just feel great fitting into that system, how I'm going to fit schematically. Education is a big part of my decision and those two factors are what came into play."
Sanders, a four-star rated as the No. 38 receiver in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, was not especially effective at wide receiver this past weekend in a close loss to Gardena (Calif.) Serra.
But the Sherman Oaks Notre Dame standout did return a punt 50 yards for a touchdown and was also a threat as a kick returner.
"I think I did all right," Sanders said.
"Serra's defense had some things schematically for me as far as two dudes wherever I went. I still have to make plays. It's a learning experience from this. All we can do is move forward. I thought my team fought hard so we just have to fine tune a couple things."
