Sanders commitment could be close

College Park (Ga.) North Clayton weakside defensive end Donnell Sanders blew up at the Athens NIKE camp and may not be far from making his commitment to a school.
"Arkansas, Virginia Tech and Bowling Green have all called me so far this month, but I just haven't been home to get the call," Sanders said. "I will talk to them at some point."

The 6-foot-2, 206-pound Sanders attended the NIKE camp in Athens where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, the shuttle in 4.62 seconds and posted a 35-inch vertical jump.
"Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida State and Bowling Green are my top schools right now," Sanders said. "I didn't go to any games this past weekend, but I am planning on trying to catch a Virginia Tech game as soon as I can. They are all pretty equal right now."
Sanders is ranked as the No. 51 player in the Peach State by Rivals.com.
"I don't have any officials set yet," Sanders said. "There is a chance that I could make my decision before I ever take my official visits. Then again I might take my official visit first. I kind of want to make my decision soon and just get it over with."
As a junior Sanders collected 70 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 12 sacks as a junior.
