Sandeman makes Big Ten visit

Wide receiver Colin Sandeman out of Bettendorf, Iowa, made a visit and landed a scholarship offer last week. However the visit and offer involved different schools.
"I just got offered by Kansas last Thursday," Sandeman said. "Iowa, Iowa State, and Kansas have offered."

After landing the scholarship offer from Kansas, Sandeman visited a Big Ten school.
"I got back from Wisconsin Saturday," he said. "I went to a spring practice. It was fun. I got to see the facilities. They did 120 million dollars of remodeling on the stadium and the press box. It was impressive.
"I talked to coach Mason and coach Bielema. They are going to sign two wide receivers this year. They have a commitment from one. I'm in the mix for the other."
Sandeman will visit some other Big Ten schools.
"I plan to take visits to Michigan and Illinois," he said. "I think those two and Northwestern. I'm not sure when they will be, sometime in June.
"And I'm getting a lot of stuff from Kansas State and North Carolina."
While Sandeman has a few favorites, he is not close to making a decision.
"Iowa, Iowa State, and Kansas are my favorites," he said. "Those are my offers.
"I probably want to decide in July or somewhere around then."
The 6-foot-1 and 188-pound Sandeman caught 44 passes for 810 yards during his junior season. He averaged 18.4 per catch and scored 16 times through the air. Sandeman also scored four times on punt returns.
